Legal framework
We process your data in accordance with Côte d’Ivoire Law No. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 on the protection of personal data, under the supervision of ARTCI, the Ivorian telecom/ICT regulator.
If you live in another country, we also apply the mandatory provisions of your country’s data protection law (for example in Senegal, Cameroon, Kenya, Nigeria or Ghana) and, where applicable, the African Union Convention on Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection (Malabo Convention).
Data collected and purposes
- Contact form: name, organisation, email, phone, country, sector, message — to answer your request.
- Instant quote: information about your organisation, your business and needs, constraints, name, WhatsApp, email — to produce an indicative proposal and contact you.
- Technical data: your IP address is used temporarily and in pseudonymised form to prevent abuse (anti-spam). No advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools are used.
Legal basis: your consent (checkbox) and pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
Artificial intelligence
To generate the instant quote proposal, the description of your needs is sent to an AI provider (Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude) over an encrypted connection. Your name, email and phone number are not sent to that provider. Prices are calculated by BIG ITI, never by the AI.
Recipients and processors
Your data is intended for the BIG ITI team. We use technical processors: Netlify (hosting and forms), the AI provider mentioned above, and our request management tools (automation, spreadsheet, messaging). Some are located outside Africa; these transfers are covered by contractual safeguards. Your data is never sold.
Retention
Requests are kept for 3 years after the last contact, then deleted or anonymised. Anti-abuse data is erased within 24 hours.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, object, erase and withdraw consent. Write to jaredillahry@big-iti.com. You may also contact ARTCI or your country’s data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, service access keys are kept server-side and data access is limited to authorised staff.
Maps and external links
The Google Maps map on the Contact page loads only if you click “Show map”. WhatsApp links open the WhatsApp application (Meta), subject to its own policy.
